Easter Sunday is time for some people to relax play with the kids and be thankful for many things. Yet on this last Easter morning, April 20th, the Smiths were doing the normal routine finding Easter eggs with their kids in Henrico,Virgina, when they found an egg that they didn’t hide. The parents opened the egg they were immediately outraged by the racist remarks in it.
Jackie and Brandon Smith were appalled to see a note that read “DIVERSITY=WHITE GENOCIDE” and “Mass immigration and forced assimilation of non-whites into our lands is genocide.”
Also in another egg was another note with two website addresses on it that read WhiteManMarch.com and WhiteGenocideProject.com. Whom ever put the eggs on the Smiths’ lawn were promoting white supremacist values.
According to WRIC-TV Jackie Smith said, “My husband noticed the last Easter egg and I knew it wasn’t one that I put out. We opened it and it’s got the white supremacist stuff in it,” .
The Smiths neighbor was also insulted by the egg and said he told NBC12.com, “I was stunned by it, on Easter Sunday. I wonder how many children picked these up and said, ‘Look what I got. Oh, I got hatred on Easter Sunday. What a great gift.'”
The Smiths than called the police. The police have scanned the area and are doing a search on the websites they are asking anyone with information to please call (804) 780-1000.
