Diane Disney Miller Dies at 79

Diane Disney Miller, better known as Walt Disney’s eldest daughter, recently passed away this past Tuesday from complications after a fall in Napa, California. Her husband, Ron Miller, was CEO of the Walt Disney Company for 11 years. Miller was one of the co-founders of the Walt Disney Family Museum  in the Presidio in San Francisco, California. She was on the Board of Directors for the Walt Disney Family Foundation. Robert Iger, current CEO of the Walt Disney Company states, “Diane holds a special place in the history of The Walt Disney Company and in the hearts of fans everywhere. She will be remembered for her grace and generosity and tireless work to preserve her father’s legacy, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.” Miller will be missed by her family members, coworkers, and many avid fans of lovers of her father’s great work.
