Louisville is one of the top teams in the Mid-West and they faced Michigan in the NCAA Championship. Louisville had an easy bracket in March Madness although they had some tough competition like Oregon and Wichita State.
Louisville lost one of their good players to a disgusting leg injury. Kevin Ware is a sophomore that has amazing locks down defense. Even though Louisville lost Ware for the season, they wanted to win the national championship for him.
Michigan fought throughout the entire game. Their all-star player, Trey Burke, tried everything possible that could help them win the game but nothing worked. Spike Albrecht, who averaged only 1.8 per game, had the most memorable game in his college career. Spike was shooting the lights out from the 3 point line. Spike scored 17 points that game and Trey earned 24 points.
Louisville also had a player shooting the lights out at the 3 point line. Luke Hancock went 5-5 from the 3 point line. Louisville had all their players performing their roles on the team which helped them win the national championship.
When Louisville won the National Championship, Kevin Ware’s face was priceless. He broke down in tears because the team dedicated their victory to him.
Louisville beats Michigan (82-76).
