The Giants are eager to begin their season and defend their title. Just last week pitchers and catchers reported to Scottsdale, Arizona to begin practicing in their spring training practice facility.
Pitcher Tim Lincecum was pleased to begin working and throwing to his catcher Buster Posey. After a horrible year in 2012, Tim looks to bounce back and regain his Cy Young self again. Other pitchers have thrown bullpen sessions with Buster Posey and the report back says that the Giants pitchers have not missed a beat.
Starting pitcher Barry Zito has faced many critics with his bad and recently good season. Zito looks to continue his success pitching because he was a big part of the Giants winning the World Series.
Most players already have arrived to spring training and are working out on their own. Catcher Buster Posey, winner of the batting title last season, is determined to continue his dominance and is not letting an offseason slow him down. Posey’s potential for the 2013 season is very high and he looks to empress the baseball world.
The Giants are ready to start spring training with their new players and returning players. The 2013 season looks promising with all players coming back healthy. Players are looking to bounce back from a bad season in 2012 with an excellent season in 2013 and players that had a great season look to keep the ball rolling and defend their title.
