Warriors Power-Forward David Lee made the West All-Star Team. Lee is putting up outstanding numbers and averaging a double-double every game. The dynamic duo of Lee and Curry won’t be playing with each other on the court for the All-Star game. Does Stephen Curry deserve a spot on the All-Star team?

Warriors Guard Stephen Curry does deserve a spot on the All-Star team because he has been contributing factor to the Golden State Warriors’ success. If he could stay healthy, he would be a serious force in the league this year, and that is exactly what has happened. It’s not a surprise to see how much of an offensive monster he’s been in 2012-13 season.

Curry is averaging 20.9 points a game, which is second among the West’s point guards, and 6.6 assists a game. His shooting percentage from three-point range (45.1) is third in the league and is even more impressive when you consider he’s taking about seven three-pointers a game.

Since Curry didn’t make the All-Star team but they invited him to participate in the 3 Point Contest. He is still debating whether or not to go to Houston to participate in one event. Will Curry come out to Houston for the 3 point contest? Curry is one of the best 3 point shooters in the league but there’s no point of going to Houston for only one event.
